*CANCELLED* Salisbury Art Trail

  • Factory 4 38 Winchester Street Salisbury SP1 1HG UK (map)

Sadly this year’s event, like so much else this summer, has had to be cancelled. As soon as it’s possible and advisable to organise public gatherings again I’ll be arranging an opening to invite the friends mentioned below, and we’ll be ready to share our work with our hugely appreciated audience again, in the flesh, so to speak.

In the meantime, please follow me on Instagram at julie_ayton to see what I’m working on during isolation. I hope to be able to offer work for sale on my gallery page soon.

For this year’s Art Trail on my home turf I've invited some friends to join me again next door to my studio.

For many years a disused engineering workshop, Factory 4 underwent a bit of a revamp in 2018, and we are showing off the result by letting the light in on a delightful and diverse selection of work from local artists and makers.

Alongside a comprehensive selection of my own pots will be some new pieces from Bridget Timoney, who completed her apprenticeship with me in January; original drawings, prints and sculptures by artist/ecologist Charlotte Moreton; artist's books and prints by Murray Marshall and a beautiful collection of baskets by Jo Mills, made using her home-grown willow. A selection of hand-carved spoons will be on offer from Reuben Goadby, and once again Lindsey Mann will be showing her fabulously individual and contemporary jewellery.

PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT BE OPEN EVERY DAY.

We will be open for all three weekends and both Fridays of the Trail, from 10.30am - 5pm. If you would like to visit at other times I am happy to do so by arrangement.
