My ever-popular pre-Christmas workshop returns!

An opportunity to make some meaningful presents from scratch, rather than resorting to more generic ‘stuff’ to put under the tree.

The morning will be devoted to throwing a simple repeated shape consistently, a discipline important at any stage of potting. It’s a challenge, but fun too, with plenty of individual attention and demonstrations at each stage. With pots drying over lunchtime, the aim is to spend the afternoon adding spouts, lids and handles and perhaps decoration using simple paper resist techniques to give your creations their unique style and character.

Pots will be dried, glazed and fired for you ready to collect the following weekend.

Suitable for early to intermediate potters, and returners looking to feel clay under their nails again!
